Network Consultant (mid-level)

Location: Fairfax, VA Department: Network Services Type: Full Time Experience: Mid Level

We have an immediate need for a Network Consultant. With continued growth in the client consulting division, we employ full-time Network Administrators of all levels of skills and experience. Candidates need to be individuals who strive for personal growth and success. We support clients in Associations, Financial institutions, and Professional Services Firms categories primarily.

We are a dynamic, full service IT solutions firm with a strong focus on high quality services in:

  • Network and infrastructure support
  • Web site design and development
  • Managed hosting services
  • Information technology consulting

Primary Job Responsibilities include:

  • On-site support of various clients network infrastructure in the DC Metro Area
  • Leading assessment and conversion projects
  • Consulting on various aspects of LAN/WAN administration both on-site and remotely
  • Developing network and systems documentation as needed
  • Providing client user assistance and training as needed
  • General Requirements Candidates Must Have:
  • A "can do" attitude and "follow through" approach for solutions
  • Excellent customer service practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employment and technical knowledge bases
  • Prior experience either consulting or in a professional services environment
  • Ability to work individually and in team environments both internally and with clients
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for moving computer equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and transportation to travel amongst multiple client locations in the DC Metro Area daily
  • Favorable results on a Standard Criminal Background Check for employment
