Business Analyst

With continued fast growth, we employ full-time Business Analysts to ensure client satisfaction. Candidates need to be individuals who strive for personal growth and success. American Technology Services primarily supports clients in Associations, Financial institutions, and Professional Services Firms.

Primary Job Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a liaison between ATS Project Managers and IT Consultants, outside vendors, and the client staff at all levels, including business development, IT, finance, and senior management.
  • Working with clients to define and refine technical and functional requirements.
  • Evaluating and initiating modifications to programs and processes
  • Writing proposals and statements of work.
  • Conducting pricing analysis and assist by providing recommendations and/or budgets
  • Creating network policies and procedures.
  • Project management of client technical and business solutions full life-cycle processes from initial analysis through execution.
  • Developing and delivering technical and business solutions within budget.
  • Systems testing with our programmers.

General Requirements Candidates Must Have:

  • A valid drivers license and transportation to travel amongst multiple client locations primarily in the DC Metro Area daily.  Some extended travel out of town anticipated with business growth.
  • Favorable results on a Standard Criminal Background Check for employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employment and technical knowledge bases
  • Excellent customer service practices.
  • Ability to work individually and in team environments.
  • Strong desire to work directly with users in a consultative role.
  • Motivation to lead teams through influence, coordination, and collaboration toward a common goal, sometimes while meeting deadline pressures.

Additional Knowledge / Skills considered a plus:

  • Financial institutions or Associations industry experience.
  • Knowledge of software development, website design, hosting, and/or networking solutions.
  • Education Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience required. 
  • MBA degree is always a plus.
